WHAT'S A STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL WITHOUT PIE?!

Calling all kids and adults… get ready for our annual Strawberry Pie Eating contest sponsored by Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps.

The contests are FREE and open to all ages. Simply show up at the North County Ford Contest Stage and compete!

There are two main events:

12 p.m.: Regular event… separate contests organized by age groups. Eat one large slice as fast as you can!
3:30 p.m.: Whole Pie Eating Contest for the hardiest of you out there! Interested contestants will be picked from a drawing for this popular event!

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE IS SWEET AS CAN BE

The Little Ms. Strawberry Shortcake Contest, sponsored by Vista Skatepark Coalition, is open to girls 0-10 years. Entry fee is $10.

There are prizes for all participants with extra special prize baskets for top three winners.

Age categories include:

0 to 2 year-old girls.
3 to 5 year-old girls.

6 to 10 year-old girls.

The contest is at the North County Ford Contest Stage at 10:30 a.m.

DRESS IN YOUR BEST STRAWBERRY FASHION

Stand aside Paris fashion show! Here comes the Vista Strawberry Costume Contest sponsored by Children’s Paradise.

The contest is free and open to kids 0-6+ ages. Simply show up at the North County Ford Contest Stage at 3 p.m. All participants get prizes!

Show your creativity for the cutest event of the festival!

All participants get prizes, with a special prize for the winner. Age groups are:

2 and Under
3-5 Year Olds
6+ Year Olds

DON'T LET YOUR BRAIN FREEZE WITH DELICIOUS STRAWBERRY SUNDAE!

What’s better than ice cream? A Strawberry Ice Cream from Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream! Join us for this new contest where you’ll compete finishing a strawberry ice cream sundae the fastest, can you defeat the brain freeze? This contest takes place at the North County Ford Contest Stage at 1:30 p.m.

Round One – Age 10 & Under, eat a scoop of ice cream for one minute, then show us your Messiest Face & Happiest Smile. (You don’t have to finish the ice cream in one minute)
Round Two – Age 10 & Up, eat a scoop in one minute or less.

Stick around for a special kindness pledge
Entries are limited; sign up at the North County Ford Contest Stage just before the contest.

THE BERRY BEST DRESSED RUNNERS!

Join us to cheer on the most fashionable runners at the Vista Strawberry Runner’s Costume Contest sponsored by Dr. Bronner’s!

The contest is free and open to all runners of the Vista Strawberry Run. Simply show up at the North County Ford Contest Stage at 9:30 a.m.

Participate with a group or individually!

THE 'COOLEST' STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL EVENT

Try to unravel a wadded up FROZEN t-shirt sponsored by Alchemy Print Co. The first person to put the shirt on, wins!

This is an adults only event as it takes place inside the Beer Garden.

Join us at the Beer Garden and prove how strong you are at 11:30 a.m.

The winner gets the coveted “I Strawberry Vista” t-shirt!

LIFT A MUG LONGER THAN ANYBODY ELSE!

Drink up this Festival favorite in the Beer Garden sponsored by EDCO Waste & Recycling … the Beer Stein-Holding Contest!

Ten contestants hold a 32-once mug with a straight arm for as long as they can. Winners get souvenir pilsners.

No cost to enter (except maybe your pride if you lose). This contest runs twice:

10:30 a.m.
3:00 p.m.
